WhenWhere
Privacy Policy

Effective: August 8, 2026

1. Information processed

The app uses the camera preview and current location to provide its capture feature. When you select an existing photo, the app reads that photo and its original EXIF capture date, time, and location when available.

2. Purpose and processing

3. Transfer, storage, and sharing

Depending on the device, the Android or iOS operating system's geocoder may briefly use a network service provided by the operating system vendor. The developer does not receive or retain that request or its result.

Use of Nominatim is subject to the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and may process IP addresses, user agents, requested URLs, request times, and security diagnostics in its global network. Photos and EXIF data are not included in those requests. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

4. Store purchases

Apple App Store or Google Play processes the Pro lifetime purchase under its own account and privacy terms. The app asks the applicable store for the product, localized price, purchase state, and current entitlement so it can unlock Pro or restore a purchase. The app does not currently copy purchase receipts into a developer-held account or upload them to a developer server. If cross-platform accounts or server-side receipt verification are activated, this policy will be updated beforehand with the providers, data categories, purposes, and retention periods.

5. Permissions

You can revoke permissions at any time in device settings.

6. Your choices and deletion

There is no developer-held user account. The browser version's reverse-geocoding cache expires within 30 days. You can delete saved results directly from your device gallery.

7. Children's privacy

The app is not designed specifically for children and does not collect account or age information.

8. Your rights, changes, and contact

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of developer-held personal information. There is no developer-held photo, account, or activity database, so there may be no developer-held record to retrieve. Requests may be sent to grigent@naver.com.

If cross-platform accounts, server-side receipt verification, advertising, or other server features are added, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before those changes take effect.
